"Mind Forest: Deadly Swordsman Ghost in Closet" we see Cassandra home alone late at night, sitting up in bed, sketching one of the visions haunting her... Plymouth Colony from 1631... but there is a ghost lurking in her closet, dangerous and deadly, about to change her world... Starring Lauren Maher.

"Mind Forest: Tortured Love & Seeking Answers" shows a scene where Michael and Cassandra have returned home from their long drive, relieved, and in good spirits. But their happy moments together are short lived, and Michael who deeply loves Cassandra is at once worried about her and annoyed by her distraction from him and her obsession. Cassandra is sure she loves Michael, but is confused, tormented, and seeking answers to the riddles of the mysterious books in her possession and her visions. Both seem to be reaching out to one another, but are like two cocoons wrapped in separate worlds. At a dinner party with friends in the next scene, Cassandra questions her friend Megan who has been researching the books for her. Megan's husband, Lance, is heavy-handed and clumsy with his jokes about Cassandra's sanity and the credibility of her books creating an awkward moment for the evening. With Lauren Maher as Cassandra, Jeff Marchelletta as Michael, Annie Neal as Megan, and Adam Daniel as Lance.

"Mind Forest: Cassandra Meets Ghosts" cuts to an ending scene in a mystical bookstore where Cassandra followed clues to pick up something of great importance. But after speaking to strange women in the shop, Cassandra turns to leave, peering back into the window only to find the store empty and abandoned. What just happened and who was she speaking to? She wonders if she's gone mad. We cut to Cassandra and Michael leaving her girlhood home where she was attending her great grandmother's wake. On the long drive home, they will stop along a forest road where Michael takes a pit stop. Cassandra gets out to stretch and wanders down a lonely path in the late afternoon light, only to encounter a deadly ghost...

"Mind Forest: Witches Full Moon Rite" cuts halfway into an ongoing scene of the three young witches holding a ritual under the light of the full moon. Lori and Ashley are attempting to scry together helping their girlhood friend, Cassandra, get in touch with the strange visions haunting her. Cassandra is a young woman haunted by centuries old visions of Witches from 1631 era Plymouth, MA. Cassandra and her two close friends are witches on a quest to solve a dark and disturbing mystery. Starring Lauren Maher with Kami Knake and Helen Yeoman.

"Mind Forest: Cassandra's Disturbing Dream" is a collection of several short scenes from the Mind Forest film project. Cassandra is a young witch and while asleep, is transported to another time and place... the dark forests of Plymouth, Ma in the year 1631. She is haunted by a ghost and trancelike, has followed her into the magical portal. She awakens with a start and her boyfriend Michael, who was asleep in bed with her, tries to comfort her. The next morning, Cassandra is sketching her dream when Michael comes upstairs into the loft, a place where she often hid as a small girl, to propose something to her, something she is not ready for yet... Starring Lauren Maher and Jeff Marchelletta.

"Mind Forest: Cassandra, Lori, Ashley Share Same Dream" finds Cassandra and her close friends relaxing together on the porch a bit lightheaded and in good spirits. But their mood quickly changes as they discover each has had a very similar dream the night before, raising questions about Great Grandmother Zelda and a centuries old mystery. Starring Lauren Maher, with Kami Knake and Helen Yeoman.

"Mind Forest: Girls' Night Out" finds Lori and Ashley stealing Cassandra away for the night in an attempt to break her out of her dark and depressed mood. To cheer her up, they take her out to a local café and grill, Packards, their long time hangout. Lori and Ashley spar, Cassandra waves off their friendly confrontation, and talk quickly turns to the lighter side of her Grandmother Zelda's life. Zelda was known by the local people as a witch, but the girls realize even Zelda was young once. This scene precedes a darker one where they try to unravel mysteries left by Zelda to Cassandra. Starring Lauren Maher as Cassandra, with Kami Knake as Lori and Helen Yeoman as Ashley. Music provided for the café background juke box music piece, "Time After Time," was contributed by Jimmy Famous and his band.

"Mind Forest: War of the Sexes" is the continuing battle between Mars and Venus. In this case, Michael is sure he has all the answers and knows what's best for Cassandra. But she still needs her independence and more time to find answers to her life's questions. Michael has found her up in the loft where she often hid as a little girl and a fierce argument breaks out between them. She feels controlled, held back, trapped under his thumb... frustrated Michael is not listening to her. Something is missing from her life. And Michael is aggravated by her willfulness. With Lauren Maher as Cassandra and Jeff Marchelletta as Michael.

"Mind Forest: Girls Get High" and you just know tall, blonde and blue-eyed Lori is an eternal creature of the sun and party girl extraordinaire out to get her two best friends, Cassandra and Ashley, high! The girls engage in a little cloud watching, musing what they see in the sky. Pareidolia is where the mind perceives familiar patterns and images of animals, faces, or objects in cloud formations. Is that a dragon or pug dog? The girls are faced and laughing as they debate what they see! But what lies beneath are either coincidences or synchronicity because at the end of the road, Cassandra will face a stark reality in the strange visions and ghosts she sees. Starring Lauren Maher as Cassandra, with Kami Knake as Lori and Helen Yeoman as Ashley.

"Mind Forest: Trunk Mysteries" is a mix-up of scenes (jump-cut and shortened) connected to the opening of a dark and mysterious trunk left to Cassandra in the loft, a place she often hid in when she was a little girl. Cassandra is attending the wake of her Grandmother Zelda, and grieving the loss of the one person she trusted and loved the most in the world. Cassandra lost her parents to a terrible accident when she was little, and Zelda raised her and her friends, Lori and Ashley. Sitting on the landing of the loft looking up into the round, mariner wheel shaped skylight, Cassandra seems to be looking between worlds and across the ages. Opening the trunk in the musty, cluttered loft releases centuries old ghosts and an unsolved mystery. For this sample video, the loft scene was cut and shortened in places, but we see she has taken out objects used by a witch and found a book... actually a centuries old journal left by a young woman who lived and was hung for witchcraft in Plymouth Colony, MA, in the year 1631. Exploring a deeper layer, Cassandra finds a magical straw poppet and holding it up to the skylight, releases a spell and a dangerous ghost. Other scenes (also shortened for this video) include Cassandra and her friends Lori and Ashley visiting Grandmother Zelda's green house on a hill, standing together on the porch gazing across the field to Zelda's gravesite under a small oak tree, and finally, gathered in Zelda's living room. With Zelda's comfort chair now empty behind her, Cassandra opens up yet another trunk (like opening up nesting dolls) and finds a cryptic note inside a small chest, pointing the way to a closed and shuttered bookstore. Unwittingly, Cassandra is picking up clues and following a road map toward an incredible and terrifying destiny.
